Shop rate:
$50 per hour (G.S.T. extra) with a half hour minimum charge, billed in 15 minute increments.

Travel rate:
$65 per hour (G.S.T. extra) with a one hour minimum charge, billed in half hour increments.
There is an additional charge of $0.50 per kilometer traveled.

Payment policy:
Payment is due when services are rendered, either by cash or cheque (credit card payment can be done through PayPal - tomax77@shaw.ca).  There is a $30.00 charge for NSF cheques and $3 for PayPal handling.

Why should you bring your computer to me?
I only charge for the time I’m actually working on the system while it is in the shop.
If I’m on location, I have to charge for travel time, updates, reboots, and questions asked by clients which greatly inflates the final bill (by up to four or five times).

Whenever possible, it would be to your benefit for you to bring your machine for service and less uncomfortable feeling if your house is a mess ;-)
